This high impact and highly engaging workshop is designed to simultaneously make the concept of innovation practical to SME’s, broaden their understanding of its facets and how they relate to the real business world that we live in and produce actionable outcomes.

We incorporate the S-PLAY INNOVATION CAPABILITY WORKSHOP, designed to help a small or medium enterprise focus their strategy on creating an environment to support innovation and increase innovation capability.

We will cover some background as to practical innovation lessons for conventional business from the big guys; Why we need to worry? What all the scary jargon is in real terms; misperceptions; what different kinds there are and simplifying them; the implications of the ‘sharing economy’ and ‘open innovation’; measuring success and if technology has a role, and to what degree.

Addressing Barriers to Innovation’ and gaining customer insights through ‘outside- in’ approaches will equip participants to make immediate changes to their business approach.

Numerous techniques, will be introduced, to encourage the future creative output of employees and we will provoke new thinking with regards to our own businesses. He has been a SME owner for more than 15 years, during which he constantly strove to find new areas for growth. He has a decade designing and facilitating interventions designed to extract innovative content using collaboration and co-creation. He has a Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and is fascinated by the opportunities SME’s have to make international best practises in the field of innovation relevant to smaller companies. He has also researched and written training material relating methods to equip people to break out the box and think differently.
